About Your Settings

Local Storage

All settings are saved locally in your browser using localStorage. This means:

• Your preferences are remembered between visits
• Settings are private to your device and browser
• Clearing browser data will reset all settings to defaults
• Settings do not sync across different devices or browsers

Custom Images

Custom background images are stored as base64 data in your browser. For best results:

• Keep image file sizes under 2MB to avoid slow loading
• Use JPEG format for photographs (smaller file size)
• Use PNG format for graphics with transparency
• Very large images may exceed browser storage limits
